OUR WINES

In perfect coherence with the estate’s spirit of respecting all things natural, our wines resonate with the purity of expression of their grape varieties, marked with the imprint of their Mediterranean terroir.

Our work is one of precision, all year long, from the management of the vineyard and the production process to the organisation of the cellars.

This approach drives us to renew our practices and constantly reinvent ourselves. Our work in the vineyard is a combination of artisanal skills… hands in the earth, steeped in a long tradition… and the mastery of the most recent technologies.

Château Tour de Montrabech

AOP Corbières

Syrah | Carignan | Grenache noir

Château Tour de Montrabech is the result of the association of two parcels specially selected from the plateau de Montrabech, a site sculpted by the river Aude and the strong currents that existed here 300,000 years ago. The soil is composed of a conglomerate formed by the alteration of diverse rough alluvial deposits (limestone, quartz, sandstone, schist, gneiss…) swept down from the Black Mountains.

A particularly mild and rainy winter and ideal meteorological conditions in the spring resulted in optimum flowering and vegetative development. Storms at the end of June swelled the groundwater reserves and hydrated the soils which, combined with the humidifying influence of the Mediterranean, enabled us to withstand the summer heatwave with its abnormally high temperatures.

Harvesting of this exceptional vintage was spread over more than 50 days, undoubtedly the most extended picking period that the estate has ever experienced.

Des vins axés sur de délicates notes fruitées, soutenues par une agréable fraîcheur florale.

L’OLIVIER DE MONTRABECH

The l’Olivier de Montrabech range takes its name from the olive grove planted close by. Its proximity to the vines contributes to the development of the ecosystem, and mingles its fresh, fruity fragrance with those of the vineyard. The wines have delicate fruity notes, underpinned by a delightfully floral freshness.

LEINGOUST

The site, which was already occupied in Roman times, appears to have been a strategic post controlling the routes to Narbonne and the Minervois. Still known as a castrum in the 12th century, the “Castri de Lengostis” went through many changes in the course of its history. From a priory, it would become a bastide, then a farmhouse, before assuming its current identity.
